Nice shoes.

A funny thing happened earlier; a presentation for M's subject was on today. His job was to present an input signal that's been fiddled around and giving a desired output (yeah boring stuff). However the pressure was unbearable; many panicked, including himself.
 
The lecturer came over to check his work, then M noticed something; the lecturer has new shoes. M figured if he could be nice to the lecturer, he might relief himself from the panic...and gain some marks...

"Nice shoes."

The lecturer laughed briefly then looked through the presentation.

Well let's just say it didn't go as well as M hoped for...
